Certified Financial Planner
Carol Lampe, principal, has been providing comprehensive investment and financial planning services to clients since she founded the firm in 1979. A Certified Financial Planner with securities and insurance licenses, she holds a master’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh and a bachelor’s degree in business from Carnegie Mellon University.
Active in professional affairs, Carol serves as a member of the Investment Research Committee of Allegheny Investments, Ltd. and has served on the Board of Directors of the Financial Planning Association and Executive Women's Council, Pittsburgh Chapters. Also active in her community, Carol has served as the chairperson of the Finance Committee of the Girl Scouts of Southwestern Pennsylvania, where she revised the investment policy to aid in achieving the organization’s financial goals. She has served as treasurer of the local chapter of the Theos Foundation, where she launched a “Fund for Giving,” and in 1992, The Lampe Family Fund for Giving was established with The Pittsburgh Foundation.
Carol has been recognized in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette for her work in Financial Life Planning and was selected as Entrepreneur of the Month by Pittsburgh ’s Woman’s Voice. Currently, she is a proud volunteer at The First Tee of Pittsburgh, a non-profit organization, which promotes character development and life enhancing values for children through the game of golf.
